Hi all, I want to clarify an issue with the schedule.  It has been brought to my attention that it’s not typical to have lab finals during finals week here, so we will be rescheduling the end of the semester to conform with other courses. The new schedule is as follows:

Week of Nov. 18th: presentations
Week of Nov. 25th: no classes for the holiday
Week of Dec. 2nd: in-class final exam

The schedule on the website has been updated to reflect these changes.

TAs may schedule their review sessions during this holiday week, next holiday week, or after presentations during normal class hours.  Your TA will send you a study guide and will update you regarding the new review session timing.

Hi all and welcome to genetics lab!  We made some pretty radical changes to the course last semester and so far it’s gone very well!  We’re hoping this course will bring you all an interesting program of study as well as a set of very practical laboratory skills.

Classes will start this coming week (January 14th), so please be prepared with a lab coat and notebook, and please remember not to wear open-toed shoes.  Thank you all, we’re looking forward to another excellent semester with you!
